These numbered PDFs are prepared for a 240 × 240 mm board, the suggested size for this design. Choose the paper in your printer:
Print at 100% / Actual size, then measure the square on each sheet: it should be 25 mm. See the printing guide for joining multiple pages. These files passed digital print checks; physical paper and fabric tests are pending. Use the size tool below if your board has different dimensions.

Advanced settings
Measure the calibration square after printing. If it is not the stated size, turn off scaling in the print dialog (choose 100% or Actual size, disable Fit to page) and print again.
Print preview — 2 sheets of A4 (portrait) · each section 125 × 240 mm · finished size 240 × 240 mm
These sheets make one continuous drawing. Each page is a full-size section. Trim at the corner marks, match the repeated 10 mm strip at the dashed line, and tape the sheets together before transferring the pattern to your board.
At these proportions, one A4 sheet fits about 190 × 190 mm. A larger finished size needs joined pages or larger-format printing. See the assembly guide.
Dashed lines show the paper joins. They are not cuts in the artwork.
Colour reference
A fabric-planning aid — printed sheets always contain the line art with region numbers.
Materials
- Foam board (kinusaiga base) — 240 × 240 mm suggested
- Fabric scraps: warm cream (sky), persimmon orange (sun), mist blue (ridge), two greens (hills), deep green (field), black or navy (bird)
- Craft knife or groove stylus
- Fabric tucking tool or small flat screwdriver
- Optional frame or edge covering for the finished piece
Tips for this pattern
- Tuck the sky first — it is the largest piece and sets the tension for everything else.
- The sun sits partly behind the hills; the printed grooves already show where each fabric stops.
- The little bird (region 7) is the only small shape. If it feels tight, cut it slightly oversized and trim after tucking.
