These numbered PDFs are prepared for a 240 × 240 mm board, the suggested size for this design. Choose the paper in your printer:

Print at 100% / Actual size, then measure the square on each sheet: it should be 25 mm. See the printing guide for joining multiple pages. Use the size tool below if your board has different dimensions.

Print preview — 2 sheets of A4 (portrait) · each section 125 × 240 mm · finished size 240 × 240 mm

These sheets make one continuous drawing. Each page is a full-size section. Trim at the corner marks, match the repeated 10 mm strip at the dashed line, and tape the sheets together before transferring the pattern to your board.

At these proportions, one A4 sheet fits about 190 × 190 mm. A larger finished size needs joined pages or larger-format printing. See the assembly guide.

Materials

  • Foam board — 240 × 240 mm suggested
  • Fabric scraps: cream, sage, dark brown, warm tan, pale beige and rust brown
  • Craft knife or groove stylus
  • Fabric tucking tool with a rounded tip
  • Optional frame or edge covering

Tips for this pattern

  • Begin with the background and ground, then tuck both ears.
  • Place the head before the pale muzzle.
  • Test the nose on scrap foam at your chosen print size.
  • The colour reference shows optional eyes. Add them with paint or stitches after tucking; they are not groove regions.
  • Choose contrasting fabric for the ears and face so the silhouette reads clearly.
